Lena Lofgren is currently a junior at Strath Haven High School in Delaware County. In and out of school, her main passions are politics and music. At Strath Haven, she is a student leader in their Diversity Training program, where she works as a mentor on the importance of acceptance. In addition, she is a section leader in her school's band and sings in a variety of choral ensembles, but most of her time is spent competing on the national circuit of Congressional debate. Also an avid linguist, Lena's summers are largely spent practicing Spanish in various immersions and putting her Arabic to use through travel. When she isn't singing or hunched over a laptop, you can find her playing the piano, watching The Daily Show, or running around Swarthmore College.
